Spazi pubblici, bambini e cura

Spatial questions we have to consider
• Are there possibilities for children to play or can they even participate in the political action?
• Are there possibilities to retreat (alone or with caretakers)?
• Will it be tolerated to visibly do specific practices of care (like nursing or baby changing)?
• Is there space for buggies, wheelchairs or walking rollers?
• Are there special toilets for people in need?
• Are there possibilities to sit or even to lay down?
• Are there spatial possibilities to cook together or do all have to bring their own food from home?
• Are there any dangerous roads around the place we meet? Is it safe for children to play around or in the building?

• How do we inform about our project? Do we reach out to mothers, elderly people or professional caregivers?
• When do we meet? How does that affect access?
• Where do we meet? Who is living in the neighbourhood? How can people come to us?
• Is there access for wheelchairs, buggies or rolling walkers?
• How do we make sure that caregivers and caretakers feel welcome?
• How do we connect with caregivers for whom it is not possible to attend a meeting? How do we include them?

• Do we reflect our use of spatial segregation?
